Lucille Ziegmann, 59, of Breda died Sunday, Aug. 13, 1995, at her residence in Breda following a long illness.

Mass of the Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at St. Bernard Church in Breda with Father Thomas Hart officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery at Breda.

Lectors will be Beth Ziegmann and Trish Riesenberg. Gift bearers will be Lois Sturm and Marie Schumacher. Mass servers will be Jeff and Joe Steinkamp. Eucharistic minister will be Theresa Riesenberg. Casket bearers will be Mark Slavin, Dan Slavin, Chuck Riesenberg, Nell Polking, Bert Sturm and Steve Holt.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home in Breda, where a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Tuesday by the St. Bernard Ladies Guild. A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday by the parish at the funeral home followed by another rosary at 8:15 p.m.

Born Feb. 27, 1936, at Dedham, she was a daughter of Frank and Anna (Gruber) Peter. She spent her younger years in the Dedham community, attending St. Joseph Schools. She graduated from St. Angela Academy in Carroll In 1954.

On Feb. 13, 1964, she married Clarence Ziegmann at St. Joseph Church in Dedham with Father Robert Brown officiating. They lived in Breda, where Mrs. Ziegmann was employed by the Breda Day Care Center and volunteered at the Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake. She was a member of St. Bernard Parish and the Parish Ladies Guild.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence of Breda; three daughters, Monda Duncan and her husband, Stewart, of Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Cathy Ziegmann of Rochester, Minn., and Beth Ziegmann of Breda; two grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Peter and his wife, LaVonne, of Dedham and Robert Peter and his wife, Jane, of Dedham; and seven sisters, Marie Danner and her husband, Alfred, of Dedham, Rose Maile and her husband, Clyde, of Jefferson, Betty Riesenberg and her husband, Ray, of Carroll, Dorothy Ziegmann and her husband, Marvin, of Wall Lake, Theresa Riesenberg and her husband, Lavern, of Halbur, Frances Wieland and her husband, Kenneth, of Templeton and Carol Irlmeier and her husband, Vernon, of Manning.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
